Sculpture

ISculpture, Dave Foncannon, am offering my work "Sentin-Al", a sculpture in Colorado Alabaster, 12"x6"x20"h, to be raffled for funds to help conference youth get to Orlando. Gallery price is over $900. Raffle tickets are $10 each and six chances for $50.

Your donation will first go into a Conference fund to help kids get to Orlando. Any funds raised beyond the need for convention will be advanced to Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp for Snow Camp scholarships.

Snow Camp is where Thomas and Lily, from Alive With Grace Fellowship got excited about going to Orlando with their new friends from Hesston. They participated with Beth-El youth at Snow Camp and were invited to Orlando by 1st Mennonite in Denver.

How you can donate: Send check or cash to me, Dave Foncannon, 125 Melrose Ave., Pueblo, CO 81004. and I will put your name on tickets. Make checks payable to Alive With Grace Fellowship with Conference Youth Fund in the subject line.

Credit Card donations can be made on Beth-El's web site, www.bmccs.org, (Giving Tab). We will enter your name in the drawing, for the same amount of times you purchase as explained above.

Drawing will be held at Faith & Life Forum at Beth-El, April 29.

Children’s offerings are for School Kit supplies, Mennonite Central Committees' (MCC) most-requested item. Each year, more than 100,000 children whose lives have been interrupted by war, disaster and poverty receive a draw-string bag filled with new school supplies. MCC has recently shipped kits to Iraq, Afghanistan, Burundi, Jordan and Nicaragua as well as some poorly funded schools in Canada and the USA. This year, we may be able to assemble 1000 kits. If you would like to sew school kit bags, there is fabric already cut, along with drawstring material and instructions, in a container in the welcome center. Donated fabric is appreciated!
